Lafferty Electric has been in business for nearly 35 years and has completed over 1000 electrical installations. Throughout the past 35 years, we have completed work for major construction companies, developers, land owners, and business owners. With the 30 year celebration upon us, the company is poised to continue development.

Lafferty Electric commenced operations originally in January, 1983. The company has specialized in commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical contractions.  There is also a specialty service provided by the company which is a complete Design-Build Department with extensive capabilities. By 1988, Lafferty Electric was ranked a top five electrical contractor in the City of Phoenix. To date, Lafferty Electric has completed in excess of $400 million in operations.

Some of the significant projects managed and completed by Lafferty Electric include: City of Phoenix City Hall, City of Phoenix Central Library, ASU Goldwater Science Center, GSAS Federal Courthouse, City of Phoenix Fire Training Academy, Cabela’s Retail Outlet Store, Gilbert High School, Sky Harbor International Airport Terminal 4 Wing, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Guidance Signs, Central Avenue Beautification Lighting Project, Mill Avenue Bridge, I-10 Broadway Curve Roadwork Project, 202 Mile Long Bridge (Tempe), as well as many others.


Lafferty Electric specialized in solar project installation as well as finance. The company has developed, installed, and financed over 40MW of solar projects.  These solar projects have led to the division of Operations and Maintenance with the Solar Division in order to service the completed projects over the course of up to 20 years.
